In Mar – Menor there are 2 types of therapeutic mud: sapropel and hydrothermal.
The composition of the mud was influenced by the favorable average annual temperature, which resulted in the accumulation of salts. They contain useful substances that improve health: salts of magnesium, potassium, fluorine, iodine, iron sulfide, etc.
